Your Lawn Is Our Mission!

WoobiesLawn Is Dedicated To The Glory of God
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God; Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."
-1 Corinthians 10:31-33 (KJV)
Our Profession of Faith in Jesus Christ
Jesus is not the best of several ways, Jesus is the only way...
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6 (KJV)
We know that it has become increasingly unpopular to tie a business to your faith. People have lashed out at businesses for doing it and they may (and probably will) lash out at ours as well. We at WoobiesLawn are proud of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and realize we nor our business would be anything without the grace and blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All things are done for His glory, which includes this business.
My promise to you, our customers, is that we do not discriminate against any person. We will mow any one's yard. We understand that someone's only exposure to Jesus's saving grace through faith may come via us mowing your lawn and we don't take that responsibility lightly.

Take the Ultimate Test!
Are you a good person?
Almost everyone thinks they are a good person...
but the question you should be asking yourself is,
"Am I good enough to go to Heaven?"
One way to find out is to ask yourself if you have obeyed the 10 Commandments. The Commandments are like a mirror to show us not how we look to ourselves but how we look to God. So let's go through them and see how you do...
The Ten Commandment Test
I think first we must establish what it means to be found guilty of breaking God's law.
"...and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:..." - Revelation 21:8
"Nor thieves, ...shall inherit the kingdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 6:10
"For the wages of sin is death;..." - Romans 6:23
The Problem: We are guilty of breaking God's law and our sin separates us from God.
God gave us free will and freedom of choice. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. We choose to disobey God and to go our own willful way each day.

This results in separation from God. The Bible says...
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" - Romans 3:23

Our attempts to reach God
People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God...
The Bible says...
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." - Proverbs 14:12
"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." - Isaiah 59:2

God's Bridge: The Cross
Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.
The Bible Says...
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" - 1 Timothy 2:5
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God..." - 1 Peter 3:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23

Where are you?

Our Response: Receive Christ
We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.
The Bible Says...
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." - Revelation 3:20
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" - John 1:12
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." - Romans 10:9
Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?
Here is how you can receive Christ:
1) Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)
2) Be willing to turn from your sins. (Repent)
3) Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, was buried and rose from the grave.
4) Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
How to pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I deserve to be punished for my sins. I believe that You love me and that You died on the cross for me, was buried and rose from the grave. Please forgive me; I want to turn from my sins, and I place my faith in you as my only hope of salvation. I now invite you into my heart and life. Please save me, Lord Jesus. Amen."
If you received Christ as your Savior,
We would love to pray for you and answer any questions you may have.
God's Assurance: His Word
If you prayed this prayer, the Bible says...
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13
Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has he given you?
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9
"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God..." - 1 John 5:12-13
By receiving Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the "new birth."
This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ. To deepen this relationship you should:
1) Read your Bible every day to know Christ better
2) Talk to God in prayer every day
3) Tell others about Christ
4) Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is taught.
5) As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others
